AFRINIC-30 will take place in Kampala Uganda from June 15 to June 21, 2019.

Our workshops and training will take place from June 15 to June 18, 2019. AFRINIC organizes two meetings each year in various countries in Africa. AFRINIC meetings bring together actors, professionals and organizations related to the Internet. The internet community discusses policies governing the distribution of Internet numbering resources in the Africa region, sharing technical knowledge, and participating in workshops and training.

About the workshops

The workshops enable network engineers and operators in the region to acquire the fundamental knowledge needed to build and manage their networks.

The workshops generally cover:

  • IPv6 deployment
  • managing Internet dialing resources
  • network security
